FAQ
What should we wear?
The best outfits are ones that feel like you and allow you to move comfortably. I recommend choosing a coordinated color palette rather than matching everyone exactly, and incorporating a mix of textures and simple patterns for visual interest. Before your session, I'll provide a wardrobe guide with tips and inspiration to help you put everything together. If you're unsure about your choices, I'm always happy to help!
What if it rains?
Don't worry - we'll keep an eye on the forecast together. If the weather is calling for rain, extreme temperatures, or conditions that could make your session uncomfortable, we'll reschedule for another date at no additional cost. If there's only a chance of rain, we'll make the call closer to your session and may even be able to work around a passing shower. Some of the most beautiful photographs happen in unexpected weather!
What if my kids don't cooperate?
They don't have to! Family sessions aren't about making everyone sit perfectly and smile at the camera. I want your children to feel comfortable, have fun, and be themselves. We'll take breaks when needed, play, move around, and let genuine moments unfold naturally. I have plenty of patience and tricks to help little ones warm up, and I promise that some of the photographs you love most may be the ones you never expected.
Can grandparents join?
Absolutely! Extended family sessions are welcome, especially for special occasions or when you want to document multiple generations together. For larger groups, I may recommend a longer session or a location that gives us plenty of space and flexibility. The Legacy Collection is especially well-suited for extended families.
How long until we receive images?
Your fully edited gallery will typically be ready within 1 week of your session. During busier seasons, turnaround may be slightly longer, but I'll always keep you informed. If you need your images by a specific date, let me know when you book and I'll do my best to accommodate your timeline.
